What the Arts looks like at Patricia Avenue School

Music, dance and art are incorporated within the classroom programmes.

In addition, we have a Specialist Music Teacher and a group of Learning Support Staff who support extra music across the school. 

 We do this by

• Provision of group programmes in classes
• Provision of specialist music programmes
• Providing a range of musical instruments and dance equipment for students to use in the classroom
• Extension music opportunities provided through the school band
• Participation in performing Arts opportunities e.g. Hamilton Competitions, Launched Festival
